It’s been a blast appearing on podcasts and independent media shows in the weeks since I finished the manuscript. If you’d like to get a sneak peek into the revelations of Red, White & Blind before it’s published, listen today to one of my podcast appearances listed below.

I would love to hear your thoughts on how I did and your advice on how I could improve. I was nervous on the first podcast, probably too casual on the second, and failed to stand up for myself on the third. But since those first few, I believe I’ve improved at dropping in when touchy topics arise and proclaiming without fear the key points of the book.

As for the book itself, I can’t wait to get it into your hands. The publication date will be announced very soon. Consider these podcasts a teaser of what five years of research into the history of media distortion and propaganda have taught me. Our media system is deceptive, and it’s a huge problem as we live through elections, pandemics, and wars, but we’re also living in a time with a New Enlightenment dawning around us. We can know more of the truth about world events than any humans living before us—if we build the media consciousness to navigate the news and penetrate the censorship plaguing social media.

The diverse range of shows that have hosted me means you probably get to choose an interview hosted by someone with whom you agree (although I always recommend a Balanced Media Diet). I’ve been interviewed by left-leaning hosts (Tarabuster, Dig on America), right-leaning hosts (Deprogram, Grimerica), hosts seeking concealed truths (Unbridled Minds, Forbidden Knowledge News) and hosts just wanting to interview interesting people (Ripple Effect).

I’ve listed each show below with a snippet of its self-description and a brief summary of how I think it went, so you can choose your own adventure. I find each one listed here to be worthwhile, but if you want to listen to just one, I’d recommend Unbridled Minds or The Ripple Effect.

After you listen, please leave a comment below with what you liked and didn’t like and your suggestions on how I can improve.

The Ripple Effect

“The Ripple Effect brings its listeners the most interesting people and conversations with the goal of provoking thought and ‘starting a ripple.'”
Ricky Varandas’s popular podcast is nonpartisan, which works great for Red, White & Blind. This great conversation only suffers from the fact that the video is laggy in a few places, probably on account of my internet connection, so you might choose to listen instead of watch.
Interviewed: September 14. Released: September 25.

Unbridled Minds

“What’s possible? What’s implausible? We talk all things conspiracy: Alien Existence, Technology, QAnon, Secret Societies, False Flags, Mind Control, Mr. Pool, and Crypto.”
The host is a Canadian living in Greece, an open-minded guy, and he facilitated a free-flowing conversation that went well. He’s a progressive who happens to support Trump, so try that on.
Interviewed: August 31. Released: September 13.

The rest, complete with a snippet of each show’s self-description:

Tarabuster

“Unapologetic liberal talk on the right side of history, decency, dignity and democracy. Comedian, activist, Democratic Socialist, Real Patriot Tara Devlin unpacks current events.”
After a great start, this one got testy! If you want to hear someone challenge me on virtually every point I make, this is for you. She continuously interrupted me. Was I too polite? Let me know.
Interviewed: September 28. Released: September 29.
Listen > (Interview starts at 27:42)

Forbidden Knowledge News

“Extraordinary interviews with some of the most brilliant researchers, authors, doctors, and scientists on the planet. Our purpose is to bring a greater understanding of the hidden nature of reality.”
This one went really well. I recommend it, although there are a few video and audio issues. The host’s interest is what I call Deep Politics–something others disparage as “conspiracy theories”–looking beneath Party Politics, so this is an idea choice if that’s your cup of tea.
Interviewed: August 30; Released: August 30
Watch > | Listen > (Interview starts at 4:00)

Deprogram on TNT

“TNT Radio is live 24/7 news talk available globally. Coming from a libertarian perspective.”
This is the first one. I was nervous. I made some mistakes, but it’s raw and fresh and there’s an immediacy to it as I’m doing this whole podcast thing for the first time. It’s short and lively.
Interviewed: July 26. Released: July 27.
Listen > (There are some commercials. Starts at 4:35)

Grimerica

“Loose cannons going rogue! Controversial issues like Censorship, Crimes Against Humanity, Alternative Health, Suppressed Science. Your triggers have been warned. Buckle up.”
The second one I did. These guys were so chill compared to Deprogram. We laughed, we joked. One of them was inhaling during the show. In the utterly casual ambiance, the conversation went in some fascinating and unexpected places.
Interviewed: August 2. Released: September 5.
Listen > (Interview starts at 5:00)

Dig on America

“We give you The Dig on US History and offer political opinion as well as discussion of current news from progressive perspectives.”
The third one I did and first with video. This is the one where I was caught by surprise and didn’t stand up for myself. Please check it out if you want to offer me some coaching. After an hour of lighthearted banter, they compare me to Alex Jones and coerce me into a distasteful game. At the very end, they call my book ‘right wing propaganda.’ It was… strange. A learning experience.
Interviewed: August 24. Released: September 3.
